Noel Burdette

Noel Burdette is a highly respected and well-known Brisbane Horticulturist, plantsman, gardener and has presented on 4BC radio, 612 ABC Brisbane radio and Community television.
Noel has been a long standing contributor for several inspiring horticultural publications over the years including subTropical Gardening magazine, About the Garden, QLD Smart Farmer, Gardening Australia magazine and Garden Gurus magazine.
Apart from being an avid gardener since the age of five and collector of rare and unusual plants, Noel is passionate about naturalistic gardening practices that uphold the creation of and continual sustainability of urban habitats and healthy ecosystems within the backyard.
A gardening local of the Ipswich area while still strongly supporting independent retail horticulture, Noel’s passion for gardening in all its guises sees him regularly running workshops throughout the Brisbane region as part of the sustainable living program at many Brisbane and Logan city council libraries and can be found regularly presenting at many high profile garden events, clubs and garden societies in and around the SE Queensland region.
Noel is the patron of the Forest lake garden group (FLAGG) and is one of the key event organizers of the Brisbane Plant Collectors Fair.
