Ipswich City Council is proud to sponsor the 2013 Ipswich Plant Expo for a second consecutive year.
The two day gardening Expo on 9/10th March is the only gardening event in South East Queensland held during summer/autumn. Over 5,000 visitors of all ages are expected to attend from across the Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Brisbane, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba regions.
You could easily make a weekend of it with a jam packed weekend planned including:
- Over 100 trade stalls selling plants and related products;
- A speaker program of industry experts sharing their expertise and answering questions;
- Information sessions on organic and edible gardening, native and non-native plants;
- Activities including plant clinics, workshops, displays, hands on activities for kids;
- Food and entertainment for all ages.
Council will be there in support of the event. The Council will be giving away seedlings and spreading the word about our environmental community programs.
